Who we are
Founded in 2006, Rotary Club Caransebeș is part of District 2241 – Romania and Republic of Moldova and brings together people united by one conviction: good done with seriousness, discretion and responsibility can truly change the life of a community.
The club brings together professionals and local leaders who choose to dedicate their time, energy and resources to creating real change in our community. Over two decades, the club has built its identity through projects in education, health, social support, culture, environmental protection, sport and the formation of young people through our work with Interact Caransebeș.
At the heart of everything we do is the value that has defined and guided us from the very beginning: Service Above Self.

Our mission
Rotary’s mission is to create lasting change – locally, nationally and globally – through projects that support education, health, the environment, young people and ethical values. In Caransebeș, we focus on solidarity, integrity and friendship.

Club meetings
We meet every Tuesday at 7:00 PM at the “George Suru” House of Culture, 6 Episcopiei Street, Caransebeș. Guests are welcome.
